Bank statements in. Profit & loss out.

Your Bookkeeping Comadre by MamáCounts turns your clients’ bank statements into a categorized profit and loss statement. Every category lines up with a line on Schedule C, so the P&L doubles as a Schedule C summary: a ready-to-use template your client can hand straight to their tax preparer. In English or Spanish, handled by your new comadre.

Made for independent contractors, Uber drivers, freelancers, small contractors, beauticians, photographers, consultants and MORE!

Ideal for small businesses that don’t need a QuickBooks subscription: making under $200K, using one bank account, and needing simple bookkeeping for tax-ready reports.

Free to join. Waitlist hears first.

sorted by your rules

Your clients’ banks stay private

It does not connect to any bank account. Ever.

Your client downloads their statement from online banking and sends it to you as a PDF or CSV. That’s it. You import the file, and Comadre does the rest on your computer.

  • No bank logins or passwords
  • No linking accounts or bank feeds
  • No client data uploaded anywhere

From statement to tax preparer

How your P&L becomes the Schedule C

Comadre builds a cash-basis profit and loss statement first. Because every category already carries its Schedule C line, that same P&L becomes a Schedule C summary your client can hand to their tax preparer as a ready-to-use template.

Bank statement

Read the statement

Only deposits and other credits, withdrawals and other debits, and checks come in, and the beginning and ending balances have to match.

Profit & loss

Sort into the P&L

Your rules put each transaction in an income or expense category. Owner draws and transfers stay out of the profit.

Schedule C

Line up with Schedule C

Each category maps to its line: gross receipts on line 1, car and truck on line 9, supplies on line 22, meals on 24b, depreciation on 13.

Tax preparer

Hand it off

Print the P&L and the Schedule C summary. Your client gives them to their preparer, or you use them to prepare the return yourself.

What it solves

The tax-season headaches, resueltos

Built from nine years of doing small-business books and returns at MamáCounts. Every feature answers something bookkeepers and tax pros deal with every week.

The headache

How Comadre fixes it

The headache & How comadre fixes it

i

“Here are my statements.” Twelve PDFs, retyped line by line.

Hours of data entry before you even start categorizing.

The fix

Reads PDF and CSV bank statements

Pulls only what belongs in the books: deposits and other credits, withdrawals and other debits, and checks. Balance tables, summaries and check images are skipped, and each statement is checked against its own beginning and ending balance before you import.

ii

Same vendors. Same categories. Every single month.

Amazon, Shell, the phone bill, the Zelle to the landlord.

The fix

Rules that remember, and a clean inbox

Categorize a vendor once and save it as a rule. Next month’s import sorts itself, and your To review list shows only what’s still pending. No more scrolling past 200 transactions you already handled.

iii

Chasing clients for answers in January.

What do you sell? Do you drive for work? Did you buy equipment?

The fix

A client questionnaire that sets up the books

Send your client a bilingual questionnaire. Their answers import straight into the tool and build their categories, vendor rules, mileage and equipment list for you.

iv

“Is Home Depot supplies or repairs?”

Guessing at categories, then fixing them at tax time.

The fix

A category guide tied to Schedule C

Look up a vendor or describe the purchase, and the guide tells you where it goes and which Schedule C line it lands on, including the vendors that depend on what was bought. Bookkeepers and business owners can both use it.

v

The truck, the laptop, the equipment purchase.

Big purchases that don’t belong in expenses and quietly wreck the P&L.

The fix

An assets & depreciation worksheet

Modeled on the tax depreciation worksheet: MACRS, bonus depreciation by purchase date, the 2026 vehicle limits, and business-use percentage. The total flows to Schedule C line 13, with no balance sheet required.

vi

Clients who are more comfortable en español.

Translating categories and reports on the fly.

The fix

Fully bilingual, one click

Switch the whole tool, the questionnaire and the guides between English and Spanish. Your team works in the language they think in, and so do your clients.

vii

Another subscription. Another login. Client data in someone else’s cloud.

Big software built for big businesses, priced like it.

The fix

A download you own

Your Bookkeeping Comadre runs in your browser from a file on your computer. No account to set up, and your clients’ statements never leave your machine.

How it works

From statements to Schedule C in four steps

1

Send the questionnaire

Your client answers in English or Spanish. You import their answers and the books are set up.

3

Review what’s pending

Categorize what’s left, save new rules, and add any equipment to the depreciation worksheet.

2

Import statements

Drop in PDF or CSV statements. Comadre checks the balances and sorts everything your rules recognize.

4

Print the reports

A P&L and a Schedule C summary, line by line, ready for the return.

Questions

Preguntas, answered

Is this a QuickBooks replacement?

For simple Schedule C clients, it can be. Your Bookkeeping Comadre is focused on one job: turning bank statements into a P&L and a Schedule C summary. Clients with inventory, payroll, loans or a balance sheet need full accounting software.

Which banks does it work with?

Any bank that lets you download a CSV export or a PDF statement from online banking. Scanned paper statements and photos aren’t read, because they have no text inside to read.

Do I need to know tax to use it?

It helps, but the category guide explains every category in plain language and shows the Schedule C line. Business owners can use it to keep clean books for their preparer.

Does it connect to my clients’ bank accounts?

No. Your Bookkeeping Comadre never connects to any bank account and never asks for a bank login. Your client downloads their statements from online banking and sends them to you, and you import those files.

Where is my clients’ data stored?

On your own computer. The tool runs in your browser from a file you download, and you save a backup file for each client. Nothing is uploaded to MamáCounts.

Does it work in Spanish?

Yes. The tool, the client questionnaire and the guides all switch between English and Spanish.

When does it launch, and what happens when I join?

The waitlist hears first. You’ll get launch details, a first look at the tool and first access when doors open.

Meet your comadre

Built by a bookkeeper who does this work every tax season

Hola, I’m Noemi Aguilar-Horta, founder of MamáCounts. For more than eleven years I’ve run a virtual bookkeeping and tax firm, and I teach moms how to build home-based bookkeeping businesses of their own.

Most of our clients are the same people this tool is for: drivers, beauticians, contractors, photographers and consultants with one bank account and a Schedule C. I built Your Bookkeeping Comadre to do the repetitive part of their books the way I’d teach you to do it, in English or Español.

Have questions? Here are some of the most frequently asked!

When does the course start?

Anytime! You get instant access to all the materials as soon as you purchase. You can work through the modules at your own pace, on your own time.

What if it’s too hard for me?

Mama, can I be honest? It’s not too hard for you—that’s your fear talking. Sure, you might be challenged at times, but that’s why I created a community for you to get help, extra training, support, and encouragement.

I don’t have a lot of spare time. How long will this take me?

The entire MamáCounts Bookkeeping Course is designed to be completed in twelve weeks. All lessons are short and designed to fit into your busy life. You’ve got to make the choice if investing some time now is worth it to you so that you can have so much more freedom later.

What if I can’t complete everything in twelve weeks?

No problem! The course is designed to be completed in twelve weeks, but you have lifetime access to the materials (and anything else that might be added later), so you can go at a slower (or faster!) pace if you need to. I got you.

Do you offer payment plans?

Absolutely. I totally understand that sometimes we need to spread out an investment like this. You can make one payment of $997 or three payments of $397 billed monthly over three months.

What’s your refund policy?

As soon as you purchase the course, you have instant access to tools, training, and knowledge that have taken me 10 years to accumulate. You wouldn’t take college classes and then ask for a refund, so I do not offer refunds for this course.

Who should enroll in this course?

You should...if you understand that in order to change your life, you’ll have to put in some hard work. This course was specifically designed for moms who want to better their own lives AND the lives of their families, and I made sure to include a lot of material to help you conquer the challenges that come with balancing work and family. Everything in this course are things that I have done myself to grow a successful virtual bookkeeping firm.

That being said, if you totally hate numbers, analyzing data, working on a computer, or basic math, and you’re not willing to put in the work to meet your goals, then this course isn’t for you.

How do I get 1 Free month of V.I.P. Group Coaching?

After you purchase the MamáCounts course, you will be taken to a page where you will be asked if you want to enroll in V.I.P. Group Coaching. Click on the Enrollment button on the page to sign up. You will not be charged for coaching until after your 2nd month is complete. You may cancel at anytime. But MUST let us know to cancel BEFORE your membership gets ran. Once payment gets ran, per company policy we will not be able to offer refunds.

I have a different question you didn’t answer!

Please email any other questions to hello@mamacounts.com and the team will get back to ASAP.
